 Merganser's Glenhoma Tsunami QA2
(Qualified All-Age title)
Merganser’s Glenhoma Tsunami QA2 (Sioux) is out of two black FC-AFC parents (Field Champion-Amateur Field Champion). Sioux is named after my Alma Mater “The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux” – plus I have always wanted “A Dog Named Sioux.” Sioux’s sire is FC-AFC Gleanhoma’s El Chupacabra QA2 (Chupa). Chupa had 22 All-Age points, and 10 Derby Points. Sioux’s dam is FC-AFC Glenhoma’s Soggy Bottoms Mildred (Millie). Millie had 49.5 All-Age points.
Sioux rode in the front seat of my truck, starting at age 46 days, for five straight days on our journey from east Texas to our home in Oregon. She had no accidents in her crate and was not vocal. Sioux is a very loving, hard charging, and coordinated dog. She lives to retrieve. We’ve also taken her pheasant hunting in ND, which she loves. Although Sioux weighs 50#, she is an alpha female and bosses our three males around.
Sioux has a QA2 AKC field trial title. I plan on competing with Sioux in All-Age AKC field trial stakes in 2026. I may breed Sioux. It just depends on her heat cycle and our schedule. |
